Job growth continued at a healthy pace in June, as U.S. employers added 213,000 workers to their payrolls, above consensus expectations but in line with recent trends. Through the first six months of 2018, employment gains have averaged just over 214,000 per month, compared with an average of around 182,000 jobs per month in 2017.
