April 2018 Germany Talent Market Monthly

After the creation of more than 300,000 jobs in February, the Germany labor market slowed down in March, with employers adding just 103,000 workers to their payrolls. The previous two months’ employment gains were revised down by a net 50,000, bringing average monthly job gains for the first quarter of 2018 to just under 202,000. This represents a slightly faster pace than in 2017, when employment growth averaged 182,000 per month.
